Administered Surveys

The Office of Institutional Research assists with various surveys from on-campus partners including the Office of the Provost,  Human Resources, and Health Services. Off-campus partners include Fiske, COACHE, Multi-Institutional Survey of Leadership, NCHA, and others.

The University's regularly scheduled student surveys include:

• Campus Climate Survey 
  • Administered every three years (next administration Fall 2026)
  • Survey invitation via email, administration through Qualtrics
  • This study measures perceptions of climate including respect, cooperation, diversity, inclusiveness, accessibility, support among our university community and opportunities for career advancement and academic success.
• Enrolled Student Survey 
  • Administered every three years (next administration Spring 2028)
  • Survey invitation via email, administration through Qualtrics
  • This survey is administered to undergraduate students to understand perceptions of their experience at Baylor including academics, extracurricular activities, and culture. Data are used by Institutional Effectiveness for program review and continuous improvement.
• Faith and Character Survey 
  • Administered Fall/Spring
  • Survey invitation via email, administration through Qualtrics
  • The purpose of this study is to discover the identity, beliefs, and behaviors of Baylor students with regards to their faith and character when they enter Baylor and when they leave Baylor
• Doctoral Student Satisfaction Survey 
  • Administered Spring
  • Survey invitation via email, administration through Qualtrics
  • Given to students in all graduate levels to hear about your experiences in doctoral programs to keep improving our programs.  
• Graduate School Exit Survey
  • Administered Summer/Fall/Spring
  • Survey invitation via email, administration through Qualtrics
  • Given to graduate school students preparing to graduate, this survey is a collaborative effort between graduate programs and the Graduate School to learn more about student experiences. Survey data will be used to evaluate existing services and programs, to design new ones, and to advise current and future students. 
• New2BU Survey 
  • Administered Fall/Spring
  • Survey invitation through Navigate, administration through Navigate
  • Administered to all first year and transfer students to gain feedback about the Freshman experience.
• Second Year Survey 
  • Administered every Fall/Spring
  • Survey invitation via email, administration through Qualtrics
  • This survey is sent to second year students to examine where students are in regard to purpose.
• Senior Survey 
  • Administered every three years (next administration Spring 2027)
  • Survey invitation via email, administration through Qualtrics
  • This study asks students to reflect on their time at Baylor including curriculum, instruction, and extracurricular activities. 
• Student Life Readiness Survey
  • Administered every year
  • Survey invitation via Navigate, administration through Navigate
  •  Given on behalf of the department of Intercultural Engagement, this project assesses student readiness and is used to improve student learning outcomes.
• Social Climate Survey
  • Administered every three years (next administration Fall 2027)
  • Survey invitation via email, administration through Qualtrics
  • This survey is an opportunity for students to share information about your experiences as part of the Baylor community in relation to sexual misconduct and campus safety. Sent on behalf of the Office of Equity, Civil Rights, and Title IX.
