Profile of Students
The Profile of Students represents headcount enrollment for students in each Fall term with trends for the past ten years. Students in multiple majors are listed once in their primary major and enrollment level. This report includes the following groups:

- First-time Freshmen: An undergraduate student newly enrolled at Baylor University and not previously enrolled in a postsecondary degree program. This includes students enrolled in the fall term who attended college for the first time in the prior summer term and students who entered with advanced standing (college credits earned before graduation from high school).
- Transfer Students: An undergraduate student newly enrolled at Baylor University who was previously enrolled in a postsecondary degree program at another institution.
- Graduate/Professional Students: A student enrolled in a master's, doctoral, or professional program.
- New Graduate/Professional Students: A student newly enrolled at Baylor University in a master's, doctoral, or professional program.
